INPPO2018

Botanical Garden of the University of Padova

Dal 09.09.2018 al 12.09.2018

The 3rd INPPO Congress will bring together leading experts in plant proteomics from all over the world, thus continuing a series of bi-annual meetings that started in 2014 in Hamburg and 2016 in Bratislava, to provide insight into the most recent advances in proteomics technologies and applications, such as gel-based and gel-free proteomics, mass spectrometry, including quantitative approaches and bioinformatics, post-translational modifications, protein-protein interaction and signalling, sub-cellular proteomics and functional proteomics.
The INPPO2018 Congress will be will be held on September 9-12th, in the fascinating location of the Botanical Garden, the oldest University Botanical Garden in the world and UNESCO Heritage, founded in 1545.
The conference will start on Sunday late afternoon with registration, poster mounting, and welcome reception. Keynote lectures, poster presentations and round table discussions will help to discuss individual open questions with experts in the field. Scientific sessions with invited speakers and presentations mainly selected from submitted abstracts will cover specific thematic areas in plant proteomics and systems biology related to physiological aspects, such as plant development and nutrition, interaction with environmental factors and specific sessions will be dedicated to emerging fields such as plant derived food, legume, crop, and fruit tree proteomics.
INPPO2018 will be preceded by "ProteoMix International", an interactive workshop based on open discussion in the field of proteomics, where young researchers will have the opportunity to present and openly discuss technical and practical problems related with the proteomic pipeline which includes plant tissue protein extraction, interferences removal, purification, separation, mass spectrometry analysis.
